Webcams

Dont click on the webcam a lot but the last few times I have the weather has not looked that good but just looked and it looks a lovely day, only 14 weeks to go!
 
Looks like the Stay cam has packed in for the moment:( And the S&S one only stays active for a few seconds before a refresh. And have given up completely on the BH one. so no chance of a good 'fix' at the moment - roll on October;)
 
Its been down for about 3 days now Rosie. SO annoying! Bonyslad popped round yesterday and Josep said it should be up and running again - but its obviously not! Send round the boys!;)
 
Stay Restaurant Webcam

Does anybody know if the Stay webcam is broke? We miss our daily look at PP which helps keep us going here in the UK.
 
'Fraid so SP. Bonyslad went in and asked Josep about it the other day and Josep knew it wasn't working. Looks like we just have to keep popping in and seeing when it is back up and running again!:(
 
I emailed Jose maria today and got the following reply:

Hallo Debbie, We are working on it, we have had technical problems, it should be fixed any time this coming week.

Thank you for your concern and friendly comments.

Best regards, We hope to see you in September.

Funny you should ask that - trying to drop me in it again - but if you look at the different languages and his signature, some of them actually say Josep! Strange but true!:p
 
Bella I wasn't trying to drop you in it ...again? :confused:

I also wasn't name dropping anymore than you were. LOL!

I'd just never heard of a Josep at Stay. Strange, as you say, that some of José maria's signatures are signed that way.

Anyway hopefully the webcam will be restored 'any time next week' ;)
 
Perhaps its just us English that he likes to call him Jose - so he can tell which language he should speak back to his customers in!!! LOL! :)

I wouldn't hold your breath ladies, as It's CD reported, BH made that promise way back in January, now that's taking the "manana" attitude a bit too far :(.
 
I'm very pleased to report that the Stay webcam is back and it's slightly moved position gives an even better/clearer view of the port. Thank you again Stay for providing us with this great facility.;)
 
Help !!!

I just can't get the Stay webcam to work and it's driving me mad.

Even when I view the Stay website it takes a while to load then I get "internet not responding" and so I close it down and it shuts down everything !!
I have a 7 year old Packard Bell Easynote laptop with Windows XP installed.

Where am I going wrong ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry i can't help you Nick but as Whaleywanderer reported at lunchtime, it is working again.:confused:
 
Hows it going Nick, any luck yet? As I posted at 15.43 I had managed to get on, but I must say it takes a little longer than usual to come on line now, it was instantaneous but now takes up to 2 seconds to load!
I think I can wait that long though!;)

You can try and check if you have the latest version of Flash installed on your laptop. I'll try and send you a link to the Adobe website later. Can't do it from phone.
