Wedding in pp!

My fiancee and I are getting married in Pollensa next july. We have arranged the church (in the Plaza Mayor in Pollensa town)and reception (at the Royal Nautical Club) but we would love some advice/reccomendations for the music. Does anyone know any good bands for the evening or guitarists for during the meal?

well thanks for the replies, not that any are of any use! theres a link somewhere in the entertainment forum for a wedding organiser but i cant access it, it takes me to a link about dentists and churches! do any of you know the lady who does this? p.s. look for a girl in a meringue dress outside bonys at about 2am on the 7th july!

We heard a local band last September, "The Hustlers". They are quite accomplished, play a lot of good numbers by Police etc. I'am hopeless on names etc. but this should stir up responces from Bonez & Jiggy etc.

Wedding Planning

I know how you feel it takes a lot of planning,we got maried in June in PP, Church in the Square then Can Cuarrassa for Reception it was fantastic.
Try going into the Hostel Paris in PP and ask for Ian he helped us with lots of local contacts or knew someone who could he also has live bands that play in the Hostel.

I know of a very good wedding planner called Jane Sancho. She operates out of Portal Nous, but covers the whole island and has done weddings up in Pollensa.

A couple of years ago I saw a wonderful local band called
Musica Nostra,I know they are still about,but as to the cost I dont know,but they played a lovely blend of Mallorcan folk/soft rock.Do a search im sure you will find them. Good luck and congratulations!
