Where are the ducks?

I’m enjoying my annual October week in PP and go for a morning stroll round La Gola every day. But just wondering where all the ducks have gone. They always had such a big presence there, but I haven’t noticed any this year, or are they in hidingI do hope that they haven’t been harmed by ignorant people feeding them bread, despite the notice.

You will find a massive community of ducks (including the “rogue” white one and its offspring) in the torrent next to Eroski, that flows into La Gola. Seem to like being nearer town for some reason.

The ducks visited us most mornings on the beach near Voramar57.

We had a, not exactly a duckling, but a young duck waddling amongst the sunbeds near Llaut beach bar for quite a few days. The one day I took some sweet corn and oats he never showed!
