Come on guys - please add anything NEW on which eating & drining place are open this Winter 2010/11 - thank you. ;)

I was in El Posito earlier and Toni has confirmed that at the end of October he will only be open in the mornings and for MDD lunch. He will close on December 20th until the beginning of February.
Have updated the list accordingly.

Ca'n Josep closing on the 18th December, not sure of opening date but after New Year. I will check and report back. He will also close on Mondays.

Can Cuarassa closures amended to list. I may just be able to get a last meal booked in with them hopefully!

Codfather closes next Friday, not sure if they may have limited opening over Winter but definitely reopen on 15th April.

Having spoken to Josep today,he will close in the week of the 18th December and reopen by the 1st February. G&G is now closed ,not to reopen as is L' Olivera's.

L'Olivera I am told is permanently closed, but I did not speak directly with the owners.

Kashmir have an ad in "The Advertiser" which says they are now open throughout the winter and doing an evening set menu for 15€. Have amended the list.

Their site actually says closed January and February. I cant contact them online to confirm they are open all winter. Did it say in the paper if they were closed at any time?

No, it was their normal ad but had a flash message saying " Now open throughout the winter ", but they were open last night when i walked by. I guess it is just as i said early on in this thread, a lot of owners are playing things by ear and plans are not set in stone. I will keep you all updated on any changes as and when they happen. ;)

I think you are right. Most restaurants have now replied giving their winter opening or closing times. Those who have just said Open during the winter, or not given any particular dates, are keeping their options open as when to close. It looks like the larger restaurants will be a safe bet all year round, with the smaller ones deciding whether to take the beginning of next year off.

There will always be restaurants open though, whatever the time of year, and this is a great thing to know!!:)
