We have a 30 year old apartment in Siller that needs some plumbing doing as the pipes are corroded. The work involves laying new hot and cold pipes between an en-suite and another bathroom, separated by a bedroom. Also the waste pipes for 2 toilets and 2 bidets. Clearly he will have to dismantle and refit the toilets and bidets as well.
There is also a quote from the builder who will do the channelling of walls and the floor, then filling in and plastering over afterwards. We have told them we don’t need tiling (as we intend to have new bathrooms in a couple of years).
I’ve been quoted what I think is a high price, even by rip-off English prices.
Has anybody had any work like this done? Any idea what I should be paying for this type/amount of work?
