You can see PP on Google Earth

Not sure if anyone has tried downloading Google Earth (earth.google.com/) but it is very cool. You start off with a view of the whole world and you can into most places on Earth. Not many UK places seem to be included but strangely PP is! I could quite easily make out the apartment I stayed in this year, the beach, Pine Walk etc. Give it go....

Yes I agree - a great website!!

I managed to pick out SYP on the Pollensa road and the villa we stayed in last October!!

Fascinating and as you zoom down it's a bit like falling to earth!

Zoom out, turn the world around a bit, and then zoom in again. I managed to find the villa I stayed in a few weeks ago near Pollensa old town, and La Terraza restaurant in Al Canada.

I can also almost make out the old farm where I used to live years ago in Northern Ireland, and the lake in front of it.

Thanks for the link. It's a bit like Jane's sangria, sounds nice but when i tried it all i ended up with was cheap wine :rollin . So I found the site (I think:rolleyes ), downloaded the software (again I think ) and ran out of time :\ .
When I find time I'll have a look and show it to Caroline.

Another cool thing you can do is adjust the tilt. If you have "terrain" ticked in the bottom right you can then fly through mountains. Works well around PP but obviously works better in Nepal where you can fly around the Himalayas!
