Young children in pushchairs

Back on Sunday from Flora....can not believe the amount of young children/babies left in pushchairs/prams up against the walls of the complex in the shade, but just feet from the open gates to the street. I spent a lot of time around the pool and am bewildered by the lack of supervision....parents either in the pool, or chatting with other guests, enjoying a meal or drink for long periods of time without checking that baby was ok. Please do not be lulled into a false sense of security while on holiday, I doubt if this would happen so much in the UK, and especially in light of what happened to the Mcanns.
