Maybe its just the front they are doing, there were walls and arches wasn't there, perhaps they are just clearing all the terrace back?

If i was the hotel owner i would be furious.
I know there were issues with planning permission so lets hope they have got the necessary licenses to do this work .

The grape vine say's they still don't have the planning permission, But would that stop them knocking it down?. Look how long the old steel structure stood there with nothing happening.

I feel so sorry for anyone who is staying in the Romantic at the minute not to mention the hotel itself which must be getting covered in dirt and dust a matter of days after they open. Surely the timing wasn't deliberate

Digger is back today!
Its a JCB today, bigger machine, to book this heavy plant you would need to book weeks if not months in advance, especially at this busy building time, so I dont think the timing is intentional, they must have know the only had up till the end of April to do it!
