Visited yesterday, going back this morning!
The event is well up to scratch once again, the Spanish do this sort of thing so well, they don't muck about with the format, if it ain't broke don't fix it!
36 vineyards present, 3 more than last year, including 4 new ones.
As a wine snob, if I had to make a judgement I would say the overall quality of the wines is slightly down on last year, but perhaps it wasn't such a good vintage?
We had a roaming bagpipe group as well, which was very entertaining if you're from a piping region like me (no, not Scotland since you're asking!) I had a chat to the guys and it turns out they're Mallorcan, which was a surprise as I thought they sounded Galician - who'd a thunk it??!!
Anyway, my advice is to just go - 10 euros including a souvenir glass and a 3 euro voucher off the cost of a bottle? No-brainer!
