Thats better again, it had dropped back a bit, and the Euro exchange rate for cash withdrawals is 1.00 BRITISH POUND = 1.41143 EURO, that is so good compared to the last few years

Visa Daily Exchange Rate

This is a useful link to bookmark - it gives the daily exchange rate for Visa transactions (I guess Mastercard will be the same). This will be the base rate for Visa Debit and credit transactions i.e. hole in the wall withdrawals and shop purchases. Depending on your card issuer, there may be a conversion cost to add, which will affect the rate you will pay.

That may be the rate for the financial markets, the rate you receive for changing holiday money will be lower. Best rate I can see in Watford is 1.41. Still a good rate and expect it to increase slowly over the next month or two.

That was the visa euro exchange rate for withdrawals I think, which currently stands at 1 BRITISH POUND = 1.4328000000 EURO
Wouldn't it be great to get to 1.50!!

Ok I stand corrected I was just looking at the rate feb last year and the general view was the pound was overvalued and the corrected rate looking forward was around the 1.28 mark so if thats correct then the rate is about there.
