Marina Brasserie will be closed on Thursday instead of Monday this coming week, from next week on it will be open every day .

Mr Yorkie and me decided to have a meal at the Marina Brasserie last night as we saw from this that it was open, which was definitely one of our better decisions. It was very quiet but we were quite early. The food was excellent. We didn’t have a starter. Well, we actually had a liquid one with a Bloody Mary for me and a Vodka Martini for himself followed by a beef risotto for Mr Yorkie (declared as 11 out of 10) and hake and vegetables for me. I have the joy in life of being gluten intolerant and there was nothing on the menu as it stood that I could have. After checking with chef I was offered grilled fish, salmon, hake or seabass and vegetables. I went for the hake which was delicious. For pudding Mr Yorkie had a chocolate brownie and ice cream and I had fresh strawberries all washed down with a bottle of Angel Mallorcan white wine. Nothing was too much trouble and it was marvellous. We will be back.
