Still a few more to add - but will probably leave this until tomorrow. ;)

Enjoying the reviews Doogz. Another one for my list is La Vall. We haven't been in Na Ruixa for a couple of years so might give it another try - the service was a bit hit and miss the last time.

Funnily enough it was the service at Na Ruixa that we felt had let it down in the past but I'm glad to say we didn't have any issues this time.

I don't know how you can eat all that. I'm just full looking at it. Even though it does look delicious ;) Can't wait, role on 2nd July. :)

Great trip report, thanks for taking the time to add so much detail.
Looking forward to the next instalment!

Excellent restaurant reviews. Some new ones too that we have yet to try☺
We visit El Meson each year and the pear in red wine is stunning.

Somewhere new and something a little bit different –
order your drink, pick some pintxos and they’ll heat them up (if required) and bring them to your table – then repeat the process until your full :D
Tortilla with tuna was particularly nice.
Hope to return there later in the year.

1 x Pa Amb oli (with Serrano ham & Cheese) for Mogs
1 x mixed tapas (Meatballs, Frito, Pica Pica, Pork with mushrooms) for me.

As ever : great food, value and service from Al & Xisco.

Rustic Cafe:
Lunch on Sunday 29th May
2 x large beers
1 'tapas tile' to share: Jamon, Croquets, padron peppers, squid, meatballs, chicken wings, quiche, tortilla, couscous with chickpeas, bread & Olives
2 x caramel vodka on the house
Around €30

Only visited here on the ruta before - lovely food & service. Excellent value - v. large portion size (suspect the menu may have said the ‘tapas tile’ serves 2-3) was quite a lot for lunch.
Also, our 1st time drinking caramel vodka ..... probably won't be the last but not sure I could trust myself to buy a bottle!

To be honest I don't think we managed to clear our plates very often - the only place I'm sure we did was La Celtika .... no way I was leaving anything when the food was that good ! :D

"Also, our 1st time drinking caramel vodka ..... probably won't be the last but not sure I could trust myself to buy a bottle!"

Its delicious isn't it, quite moreish We were given this as a complimentary drink in a restaurant in Alcudia a couple of years back. I bought a bottle of this on Amazon.

I think one glass of that stuff would be my limit ..... just can't decide if that should be a half or full pint glass ! ;) :D

La Celtika:
Dinner Thursday 26th May
Okay, this is a big one. I think we’ve done a reasonable job of remembering most of the details (particularly as there was alcohol involved) but hopefully LaCeltika sees this & can update if we’ve missed anything important:

2 x Kir Royale
2 x Tasting Menu with matching wines:

Round 1: Amuse Bouche of Artichoke with tomato marmalade / Tapenade & a cheese crisp
Round 2: A celebration of peas: Pea soup, with pea puree, pea shoots, pea salt & peas plus a perfect poached egg.
Round 3: Marinated Sea Bass, Beetroot, Asparagus, Octopus + Beetroot & Asparagus purees
Round 4: John Dory, Lentils & tarragon 'horseradish' served with a john dory stock. (All the dishes were stunning but we both agreed this was our favourite
Round 5: Dessert of Mango Sorbet, Fresh Mango, Mango & passion fruit coulis, Chantilly cream & meringue.
Wines were all white: Gomariz, Butxet & Tianna Bocchoris.
To finish : 2 x Brandy (Montenego) & 2 x lemon macarons

Cost €50 per tasting menu + €20 for matching wines + €extra for Kir Royale & Brandy
The most expensive dinner of the holiday but still fantastic value for money for the standard of cooking, ingredients & service (especially when compared to what you would pay in the UK for something similar).
The chef/owner, Yann only uses the best ingredients, cooks & presents the dishes perfectly - if it's not too warm I'd recommend sitting inside so you get to watch Yann at work and interact with him throughout the meal.
Currently they are only doing the tasting menu and the details of the menu aren't listed as it can vary daily because Yann is focussed on using local ingredients & adjusts the menu depending on what is available / in season.
Given the price and the lack of detail I think some people may be but off going in but, having eaten here on previous holidays we had no such concerns -
If you enjoy high-end dining then I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough & if you have any concerns about the lack of detail on the menu pop into the restaurant and I'm sure they'll be happy to provide more info.
Hopefully we still have another holiday in PP later this year so I won’t be voting for my top 5 restaurants just yet – but I’d be very surprised if we will find anywhere to top this (& we will definitely be back for another meal if when we next come back to PP).

Mogs pointed out a mistake earlier so I've made a small update to the La Celtika review - it was the John Dory that was our favourite dish not the dessert

Fantastic, mouthwatering reviews and pics - and lots of places we haven't tried (but will now) - many thanks for taking so much time to satisfy our hunger for PP!

Totally agree, Kate 1, thanks Doogz1874, you should become a restaurant critic. EXCELLENT ;)

Brill
