The puppy in the mountain....

Has any one managed to see the puppy on the mountain this year . Is it still possible to see him/her ? I saw it last year(amazing!) We were sitting outside citrus mid afternoon there were 4 of us and 3 of us managed to see it . OH never manged to see it the whole two weeks I blame the beer goggles !!!!

Hi pollensa4ever, Oh yes the puppy is still there although in the summer months he is sometimes more difficult to see ..think it may be the humidity and heat haze that hangs over the mountain some days. But on other days he is as clear as anything.We have friends who however hard they look can't see him which I don't understand as he is all I see when I look over towards Victoria I love my puppy

Pollensa Puppy

I saw the puppy really clearly from the beach just near the Voramar, so did my daughter - but my hubby thinks we are winding him up! I took a zoomed-in photo of it, but he still can't see it! .

We picked out the puppy everyday, clear as anything, as the angle of the sun changes late afternoon he/she starts to fade until the next day.

We have stayed in the loto apartments up past the Flora on Mendez Nunez and the balcony looks over the school towards Boquer. From here i can clearly see a horses head in the mountain. Unfortuneately my wife cant. it was at breakfast time that I first saw it and even I dont drink alcohol that early.

All depends on what time you have breakfast.

Yes I can see it. Little dark blob is the nose and large ears on either side.

There is a very sheer cliff face on the left hand side of the Formentor road where it leads up to the top of the hill.

I was told that when this cliff face doesn´t create a shadow, it´s exactly midday. Seems right to me.

You can usually see it clearly from mid afternoon ....we also say there is a salamander on the top.if
you look it it from la gola beach there is also some debate if its roy orbison or elvis near the right "ear" ...personally I would say roy

Ye of little faith! 'My' puppy is only the face so don't try looking for an entire dog!

He is looking to the left and looks like a King Charles spaniel. It much easier to see in person, on a bright morning, as opposed to in a picture which makes him look a bit fuzzy around the edges!

But like me after a few drinks
