I was hoping to try this restaurant when we come next week but there doesn't seem to be much about it on here, any thoughts ?
Also does anyone know if its suitable for children( 10 and 12) and if they offer any alternatives for them?
thanks!

In my opinion not for children

unless they want fish.

Also more of an adult experience which we love but it is very expensive .

The restaurant called can panxo (wrong spelling ) across the street from La Celtika much more child friendly and more choice of menu.

Scotlsizzy

Posted a review earlier in the year: http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com...majorca/12878-may-june-2016-a.html#post112655

For me it was the best "foody" experience of the holiday and we'll be visiting again on our next holiday. However, is it suitable for children ? Well I guess that really depends on the children but my gut feel would be probably not - but if may be worth popping in and asking Yann what he can do. :)

Thanks for the replies , I'll probably call in first.

I agree with the other comments - we have teenage daughters, one of whom will eat most things and loves fish - but even she commented that the menu was too esoteric for her so we decided to go elsewhere (in fact Ca'n Panxo, which someone else recommended and which they loved). I'd personally only take a teenager of 16 or more to a restaurant like this - and even then I'd check that they'd be happy with what they will be getting beforehand to avoid an expensive and wasted evening.

Up until this week there was a sign saying opening 2nd trimester ( spring)

This has now been removed and there is for sale/ to let sign

I have just spoken to Jann and he confirmed that the restaurant has closed down.

PPexit?

Might be time for that sticky with the closed restaurants ...

Went there once and, whilst the food was "interesting" I found that sitting in the street next to a noisy bar with kids running around wasn't an ambience that matched the pricing. I wouldn't be returning anyway.

We felt the same

Looked at the menu so many times as we walked up there and so hot and airless in that road and really dont want to eat high end food in that situation

Felt it should have taken over the OLume premises when it was vacated

To us it looked quieter this last year than the year before There will be a lot of changes for us to see this year
