Transunion shuttle from the airport

If it's on their drop down list on the 2nd page of their website, then they'll drop off there.

Do Transunion contact you to confirm your collection time from the Port? The service to here was fantastic but now it's almost time to return and I'm wondering as Resort Hoppa a either had the app or sent you an SMS.

FYI we were dropped at the Daina for the short walk to our apt.

In response to my own question. I emailed Transunion approx 08:30 on Friday morning quoting our booking/ reference number and what time our collection would be. I received a response within 2 mins of my email.

Yesterday we were at the Daina for our 08:25 collection and the driver collected us at 08:23 on a lovely clean bus. Even better, we were the last collection from PP and so 47 mins later we were at PMI and in the check-in area.

Our collection from PMI earlier in the month also went without hitch. We arrived at the Transunion desk with no queues (I did have a sneaky look at Palma Coaches which seemed 10-15 deep). Was promptly served at Transunion and given a receipt telling us which bus was ours, headed outside to a nice bus with others waiting and then had approx 15 mins to wait before we were off. We were then the first off in PP at the Daina.

Of course if there are 3 or 4 travelling or at odd times then a taxi is still the way to go however having used Hoppa (Palma Coaches) twice already this year with their ridiculous queus, increased prices, waits for busses, unplanned excusrsions of Alcudia/ Platja de Muro and la Victoria (yes, really) as well as 6 hour pre-flight collection; based on our experiences on 11 and 21 August I cannot recomment Transunion high enough for a shuttle transfer.

Do holiday taxis only use transunion coaches or are you likely to end up on resorthoppa, Also on looking on transunion website i cant find Puerto Pollensa only Pollensa might be me but i could not find it .

Just use Pollensa and then you put in your hotel, a day or so before you return go back to their website enter your booking number and it will tell you the pickup time, we used it last month and had no complaints whatsoever. Doubt if they would use other buses are as far as I know they are the biggest bus company on the island.

Having just returned from PP, here is our experience of TransUnion transfer booked through Holiday Taxis. On arrival at Palma airport found TransUnion desk checked in and given a ticket with coach number and where to find it. No problem, waited around 15 mins and we were away. First drop-off in PP. So far so good. Day before our return, tried to check pick-up time on website given on instructions but Booking Reference was shown as 'unrecognised' so sent an email - no response. Then telephoned number given which was on answerphone requesting us to leave a number and they would get back within 24 hours - not much good when our flight was early the next day! Finally, rang Holiday Taxi's in England, who asked us to wait on the line whilst they made a phone call. Eventually, got a pick-up time of 6.20am!! for an 11am flight. Coach arrived at 6.30am and picked up 21` passengers in all in Puerto Pollensa and straight down to the airport - arrived around 8am. To be fair, we didn't have that extended trip around Alcudia and C'an Picafort, which we had experienced with Hoppa, but we were picked up rather early 4 and half hours before our flight time. Nevertheless, It was not expensive and I suppose you get what you pay for. We will try them again in the Spring. Does anyone know what date they will start running next year?

I believe that their standard shuttle transfer operates from April through to October. Enter the dates within their site, and it will show you the available options.

Winter/spring airport transfers

For those travelling out of season and who thought no shared transfers would be available, I can report that I have just booked a transfer for March with an English agent 'Airporttransfers.co.uk' for just over £22 for both of us. The only downside is they use 'Palma Coaches' whose reputation has not been good this summer but Could not find any agents using 'Transunion' at this time of year. Hopefully, it won't be too bad as we have a late flight home so we won't be picked up at 'the crack of dawn'!!
