Restaurants open in winter 2016/17.

Here is the list of restaurants which will open this winter (November until April). As always things can change because it depends on how many people are here. I will add names to the list as and when i get the info (including opening hours), please let me know of any that are not here and i will add them.
I would recommend that you make reservations or at least check with the restaurant beforehand to avoid disappointment.

So far we have (subject to change):-


Puerto Pollensa.

Ambrosia. - Open 11am til 23pm. Closed Tuesdays.

Argos Restaurant. - Open from Friday the 3rd of March.

Bellaverde. - Now closed until Spring.

Biniboy.

Brisas Marina. - Closed 12th December until 3rd February.

Cafe 1919.

Can Josep. - From 1st November closed Sunday nights and Thursdays. Now closed until 10th February.

Casa Vila. - Tuesday until Sunday 12.30pm until 3.30pm and 6.30pm until 11pm.

Celler La Parra. - Closed Sunday nights from mid November until the end of March. Closed 11th December(after lunch) until 19th January.

Centric. - Closed December and January.

El Casinet. - Closed Thursdays in winter.

El Posito. - Open lunchtimes only. Closed Saturdays.

El Meson. - Closed Mondays.

Hibiscus. - Closed Thursdays.

Himalaya. - From 5.30pm every day.

Ikebana. - Tuesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 15.30pm.

Kashmir. - Evenings only and closed on Sundays until Easter.

La Esquinita. - Open 11.00am - 00.30.

La Llonja (La Cantina). - Open from 19th December. From 9am until the afternoon, closed on Tuesdays and fiestas.

La Nonna.

La Vall. - Open every day for lunch and dinner. Hours 12:00 - 16:00, 19:00 - 22:30

Liberty Kitchen. (formerly known as Hell's Kitchen). - Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat ..6pm til late, Sun 11am til 6pm.

Llevant. - Closed for November.

Los Faroles. - Closed 8th December until 1st February.

Los Zarzales. - Closed until Spring.

Luna de Miel.

Manduca. - Closed Thursdays.

Marina Brasserie. - Open from 9am - 11pm, closed on Tuesdays.

Maxim Bistro. - Closed until early March.

Naciente. - Open 13:00 a 16:00 / 18:30 a 23:00 closed on Wednesdays.

Nostalgia. - Open from 21st December. Now closed for holidays until 3rd March.

Osteria. - Opening mid March.

Pascalino.

Patio @ 49. - Open every day from 17:30 - 23:00

Portofino. - 12:00 - 16:00 and 19:00 - 23:00. Closed Tuesdays.

Sol y Mar.

Tolo's Grill. - Open from 10th February

Yacht Club. - Dec until Feb, Saturday & Sunday only from 7pm til 11:30pm.

That's really useful as we're coming out on 5th November for 6 nights in the old town, but will certainly dine in the port a couple of times.

Any recommendations in the old town we should try? Never stayed there before.

We love Cantonet which is up near the church by the Calvari steps. Their ravioli with various filling is handmade and delicious. They serve it as a starter, as well as a main, which I prefer as it's very filling. They have a lovely courtyard which may be closed in the winter but the interior is lovely too and very cosy if it's cold

I might be wrong but I think Cantonet had closed when we were there in June. Hope I'm wrong

The original Cantonet closed a couple of years ago but moved literally to the other side of the road into where El Temple restaurant use to be. They did a lot of work on the interior and transformed the terrace at the back. We went in June and September and it was very busy.

Walking through square this afternoon noticed that Maxim Bistro ( which has been closed for a few weeks) has a notice in windows stating reopening in December also stating there will be xmas/ new year menu.

Walking through square this afternoon noticed that Maxim Bistro ( which has been closed for a few weeks) has a notice in windows stating reopening in December also stating there will be xmas/ new year menu.

Excellent news and good luck to them. It would be fantastic if a few of the restaurants on the square now stayed open all year. It would give PP a much more "less deserted" look.

Brisa Marina will be closing for 6 weeks this winter. Not sure exact closing date but they will be closing sometime in December until after Saint Anthoni.
