Advice please

We are only visiting for one night leaving UK tomorrow early and returning Sunday leaving Palma at 8. The forecast looks dire for Sunday with Aemet issuing a weather warning. I know I can get there tomorrow but, how likely is it that the plane will not be able to take off in high winds of over 50mph for my flight home Sunday? My instinct tells me it won’t happen and the flight will be cancelled. Does anyone have any ideas? Utterly devastated - really needed this one night fix!

I thought strong head winds actually helped planes take off and land but I might be wrong We’re flying back on Sunday and I’m more worried about turbulence than the flight being cancelled

Shouldn't be a problem.

In over thirty years travelling taking over 80 flights a year on business I have never had a flight cancelled due to wind, including some pretty hairy flights in Newfoundland. Fog yes, ice yes, thunderstorms many times, but never wind
