There were cockroaches in Casa Dalt too. Mainly in the kitchen and courtyard area - never saw any upstairs in the bedrooms. Just took it as part and parcel of the area like ants and mosquitos. btw mosquitos were no where near as bad this year - not sure if that was a general thing or just because we were in the centre of the town...

Hi K. I have sat around Pollenca for years now and Ive never seen any cockroaches. Surprised you say that.

I regularly visit Cafe Avenida, used to be Bar Avenida, it is near to Plaza Ca Les Munnares, sit outside in the late evening and you will see the roaches. In fact anywhere that food is served outside and particularly where there are drainage grids nearby.
I cannot recall seeing any in PP, although I do not spend my time looking for them, it's just that because I have seen them in the old town I seem to notice them there now.

I think that it's because it has been so hot and dry for so long. The cockroach and ant problem has been worse this year , certainly in the Port but having said that they are dying off now. The upside is that the pesky mozzies have been much less of a problem ;).

Ach! None of them could live with the good old Scottish Midgies, just goes to show there's a down side to anywhere you go.
