Hi Just got back from pp thought I would share some of our experiences.
It was my second stay and for my friends it was their first and we had a fantastic week enjoying the many bars and Restraints that PP has to offer.
Our first night we dinned at Dakota restaurant which I would say on reflection was probably the least enjoyable place we visited, its not so much there is anything wrong with the place its just that its nothing special just average American style food the steak my friend had was quite fatty and the burgers were not even up to the standard I have had in burger king, but on the positive side the staff were very friendly.
Next we went to Kashmir Indian Restaurant in the square I had Chicken Madras and it was superb probably the best I have had on holiday the service was again spot on and the place was very clean and nicely laid out.
Centrica restaurant was probably our favourite restaurant we visited the food was superb and we dinned there 3 times. The service was also very friendly and everything we ordered was of a very high standard.
Next we visited the Cod farther and to be honest was a little concerned that it may be a mistake as in my experience these types of places can be disappointing well glad to say I was proved wrong we were greeted by the chef as we walked in and could not fault the chip shop style fish and chips we had it was superb as was the service well worth a visit.
A quick run down of the bars we visited.
JK's Very friendly British bar very popular when sports on the TV and they do a great range of "English" style food which we sampled and really enjoyed.
Mulligans-An Irish bar great Guinness and Heineken good atmosphere and we really enjoyed the live entertainment.
O’Hara’s-Our favourite bar lively and open very late till about 4 I think great place to sit outside and watch the world go by great staff too.
Elvis-He was everywhere in PP lol I believe there are 3 in town and we saw 2 of them and have to say they were great nights the Scottish Elvis at Mulligans was a great show he really gives 100% effort and I don’t think you can help but enjoy it even if he does sound a little different to the original
We also saw Elvis number 2 at O'Haras which again was a great night really getting the crowd involved.
Drinks
They are not cheap lets be honest, I am not a fan of Spanish beer so was paying from around 3.50 to 4.50 euro for a pint but the quality of the draught beers was excellent.
All in all a fantastic week took in some great cycling in the day to burn of some of that food and beer
Formentor was well worth the visit
