Don't take yourself so seriously! If you lighten up a bit perhaps you can join us on the girls night out ;)

You didn't answer my question

Girls, when you get to PP, can I suggest you spend a night looking for sws and give him a good handbagging for interrupting women when they are talking!! gpm

According to my OH Xarau gets lively later on in the evening, even some people having a bop! And it's only round the corner from Chivas.

I have only been there once so cannot comment firsthand.

GG :)

Sorry but i wouldn't go to Xarou if you paid me. We went there one evening in January, the wine was like drain cleaner and our friend who drinks vodka swore it was the local stuff and could not drink it.

I think this a great topic for a thread on PP & I'm sure it is & will include suggestions for where to go. If I'm out in September I'd love to join you. I can't really think of anywhere. I used to love the Hustlers at Mulligans but Hostal Paris doesn't feel the same. Batucada isn't bad for drinks. One evening we came across a Girls Night eating at Cellar La Parra & having a great time - they had literally come over for one night to stay in a friend's villa. Is there anywhere suitable in Pollensa town?

Sorry Pollensa, once again it seems that its just me again, as always I only had the best interest of the Wigglethump shop at heart and as a long time member would never intentionally do anything to upset its smooth running, tell Zed I will send her a PM.

well girls and thanks for all the info, we are over in june and we will have great time. now all calm down have glass or to and enjoy, thanks again that was fun.

The fun never ends here benjoe! I'm sure there will be more added. Pollensa, Cellar la Parrar sounds interesting for a group of girls. The venue and atmosphere are good; the food can be a bit hit and miss but never really bad, and if the company is right and the wine good, then - Here come the Girls!:) If there are a group of you, you do need to find a restaurant / bar that doesn't mind a bit of laughter, as opposed to a restaurant that goes for a "respectable" night out, if I can put it like that. But I think perhaps the adult "Pirates Night" could be a step too far!

Pre-dinner drinks

For pre-dinner drinks - cava/kir royale - sit on the terrace at the yacht club. You never know you may be treated to a midnight cruise around the bay :)
Make sure you speak to the owner (lots of people charter at that time of year) and make sure it is 50 feet +

Yes pollensa please join us...there appears to be quite a group of us now who may be up for una noche sin hombres!!! We could all wear PP.com T shirts ;)

This is an excellent topic, gives the gals ideas!

And sws, having met some of the gals posting , better not to trifle with them!

Porto;)

If there's enough of you, a mini bus down to Palma might not prove to expensive.
Get yourselves out of PP. The last thing you want is to bump into the OH's on your 'Girls night out';)
Or theres always Magaluf:D

If you do go to Palma - go to Abaco you will not regret it.......

Situated in the area of La Lonja , the Abaco Bar is a must to visit.
Over decorated and somewhat baroque on its forms, this an old manor house in the hearth of Palma and next to many restaurants. When going in, make sure you look at every room and every over-the-top flower display.
The place is expensive and a cocktail can be about 12 Euro or around. However, what is typical there is to have a fresh squeezed fruit of your choice (also notably expensive). Inside there is an old mallorcan patio which has been converted in to a lovely terrace where to seat and have the feeling of being to a wonderful garden with classical music and water flowing down as background ambient ad atmosphere.
The point is that this place has been catalogued as a part of the history so now the must allow people to enter and have look, even if they just want to have a quick look to its marvellous decoration.
If going, keep in mind that they close early and that during the weekends and the summer season its gets quite busy and crowded, so it is easy to find a large queue. Photos are not allowed inside this place (and you will not find even in the internet) and it is clearly marked on the entrance, so do not try it.

I'd give up mate if I were you !!!!

Never gonna win with these Babes !!!!!

Can't see why we can't just sit back and left 'em have some fun ???

BonysLad :D

Well Debz I have the black vest with gold sun .... so maybe that one can be the uniform lol ......

I like the idea of a meal somewhere that doesn't mind laughter followed by a good bar .... Batacuda maybe or perhaps Nostalgia ( have never been but will check it out over Easter )

Actually I may have to make a big list of all the places recommended and check them out on my next couple of trips ......... purely for research purposes

Also, I may well be an expert on nights out in PP by September if my holiday with the young girlies goes according to their plans ........ either that or a nervous wreck

I see a plan coming together! Thanks for starting the thread benjoe, hopefully you can be in for the September one too! Love the idea of the "uniform" will have to work out how the sizes work. Hubby says he hopes some footie is on for the lads that night then!
