2009 ca'n vidalet chardonnay

The 2009 Chardonnay from Ca'n Vidalet is truly excellent. We drove out there and sampled it on site - well worth a visit as it's the most beautiful location though you do really need to call in advance first to book a testing in case they are busy. Anyway we tried everything they had and the Chardonnay just blew us away. Interestingly we mentioned it to Jaime at O'Lume the night after and he had just tasted it and decided to stock it for the season - he agreed that it was superb.

Just to let you all know that Can Vidalet has won a silver medal for their Cabernet Sauvignon in the International Wine Challenge

And very well deserved too. Has any one tried their Cava yet? I think it was bottled last year or the year before.
