Hi everyone - having visited PP many years ago, before kids arrived, we are eventually heading back next Summer. Spent the last ten or so years going to to Menorca, Arenal D'en Castell, another lovely resort but felt it time to revisit PP, sure we won't be disappointed. Coming with wife 2 kids and my parents.

I have narrowed the search down to the Bellresguard complex, mainly due to the excellent feedback on this site and this forum.

I'm after the obligatory advice on which apartments are best to go for - Sangrilla area looks nicest to me (and the kids) due to the pool and still torn between a ground floor or something with a roof terrace. Ground floor is good but we do like to enjoy an outdoor area for drinks and relaxing and obviously the more salubrious the better! :) Just don't want to end up with something where the outside faces a hedge and has little or no room! Any suggestions on that score and contact details?

Also another pain at the moment is that I have secured flights from the 2nd-16th August but this is Tuesday to Tuesday (much cheaper than weekend flights) so I need to find something where the owners are flexible and will allow us to come Tuesday to a Tuesday.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks very much. Looking forward to renewing acquaintance with PP and particularly the Pine Walk area.

Scott good luck in your search. We discovered the Lavinia appts last year, it was amazing although i know that 1st floor one is taken as we are there again with our 5 boys and my parents from 6th - 20th August. You will have a wonderful time.

Hello - care to do a swap then? :)

What part are the Lavinia ones in then? Any other reccomendations for good ones on the complex?

Scott

It depends what you are looking for

Sangrilla apartments are smaller than most of the other Bellresguard Buildings and have a much larger apartment to pool ratio. From memory there are about 50 apartments to the pool wheras the other buildings tend to have between 12 and 18 apartments per pool.

In August the Sangrilla pool is quite busy and so your children will always find lots of other children to play with wheras in the other buildings you may find there are only 2 or 3 families actually using the pool, which will be ideal for some but others will prefer lots more children for thier kids to socialise with.

We always used to stay in Sangrilla when we had small pre school children but started to stay in the other buildings as the children got older and actually wanted space in the pools to swim rather than lots of small children to play with

Sangrilla apartments are also usually cheaper and I guess that would be a consideration if you are just going as one family

Hi scott the Lavinia appts are at the front of the complex.. I walked round the complex with my husband one night and it is all lovely. Although from a personal view I prefer the older appts as opposed to the more modern ones as you near the back of the estate. We were on the 1st floor of Lavinia and the layout and size of the appt was perfect for kids and grandparents.. Perfect!! Good luck.. How old are your kids Scott??

Thanks all.

Have found one in Acron in the Sangrilla section. We were a bit limited due to Tuesday to Tuesday flights but there you go. You're right they aren't as big as others in the complex but a decent price, decent location (balcony overlooking pool) and direct contact with the owner, which always helps, means we'll go for it. Kids are getting a bit older now so the year after perhaps we'll look for something a bit bigger and with more pool space, that's if they're not off doing their own thing of course!

Looking forward to returning to PP after too long exiled. :)

Brilliant news.. My boys are 6, 10, 15, 16, 17 be sure to say hi if you see us around. :)

Blimey! There we were thinking we'd have room around the pools. I'll be on the look out for the Wright gang :)

Thanks for the help, once again.

Sorry about that. Didn't mean for it to be secretive, anything but really and you've not missed much. Clinkham just furnished me with more details on the apartment and the owners. Booked the original one I found now, situated in Acron.

Thanks all.
