Wedding Cake

We are getting married in PP in september, and on our last trip in may we had arranged for some cup cakes to be made for us for the wedding reception.

However, it appears now that the person we had arranged to make the cakes will not return any emails or phone calls after several attempts and leaving messages with her husband.

Can anyone suggest someone on the island that could provide a cake or cup cakes at a reasonable cost for september?

Hi Kev, how awful that you have been let down.
Hopefully someone will have some first hand knowledge of how to help you, but meanwhile, if you google Cupcakes Majorca, you will get a list of wedding cake sites which may be of help to you. I would think most of them are in the south of the island, but they will deliver anywhere. They also may know of somewhere a little closer to the north.

Hi Kev you must be so disappointed. Just a thought but as you are holding your reception in the Hotel Miramar maybe they could arrange something for you. Also there are a number of good bakeries in the Port who could probably help you, of course you will need to give them some notice but i am sure they could do something within 24 hours.

Not sure if this helps but we had a Mao or an take on the wedding cake and had mini enseimadas from a local pastry shop in pp and had a Perspex stand we took over. If you need a stand we were looking at selling for a reasonable price..happy to send a photo

What abot Ocho restaurant in the old town, wifw of the owner makes superb cupcakes.If you haven't got a florist check out the one mentioned here, you won't be disappointed-Ocho's number or e mail may be on this site too. Best wsihes

Sparky was indeed correct, we did get married last year and it was actually ocho that let us down in my previous message by not returning calls or emails. However Anna at Sugar Mallorca came up trumps and would recommend her to anyone.
