Any suggestions of where to spend a Tuesday night in mid June?
Probably can't get into our usual apartment in PP until the day after arrival and as it is just the two of us we can go anywhere...
Done a search on a few websites but so far nothing has jumped out

The Eolo, Pension Bella Vista, Hostal Paris and maybe the Hotel Mar Calma if it is open after the refurb it's having .

Hotel La Goleta, good position on the front, family run hotel, reasonably priced with some rooms overlooking the sea, oh! and a good restaurant as well.

Most of the smaller independent ones are listed here Hotels, Apartments - Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Mallorca Majorca

Hotel Villa Singala close to Hotel Illa Dor is an excellent choice and will accept booking for one night.

Can thoroughly recommend Hotel Singala - 10/10 - very clean, excellent value, kettle/fridge in rooms. All this and effecient,helpful and friendly staff. Booked again for next July - Tibbles

and your no doubt counting the days Tibbles. Hotel Villa Singla was a great surprise this year and next years rates are still good value compared to other hotels in the area. I have already booked a couple of people in for 2012.

Can we please stop giving such repetitive positive feed back for Hotel Villa Singala. Those of us who already know what a treasure it is will have difficulty booking if it becomes too well known. At least hang fire for a week or two, till we have finalised our 2012 itinerary.

Good morning JMD40 yes we are counting the days - thinking of stopping off in Barcelona on the way - any ideas of hotels airlines transfers etc please ? practising spanish like mad - don't want to make a complete fool of myself next July in PP adios Tibbles
