In the event of any claim, you will still have the excess amount taken from your credit card by Goldcar. You will then need to claim it back from Insurance4carhire yourself. (Any interest on the card transaction, I suspect will not be refunded)
As I mentioned in a previous post, I had a claim for around the £150 that I had to pay to Record. insurance4carhire paid up promptly - well before the card bill arrived. With such good service I won't apologise for giving them a positive mention when the opportunity arises particularly as the premium seems to have reduced this year - £35 this year compared to £50 previously. And more importantly, they advertise on puertopollensa.com!
