Main road is called ?? Found Eroski on Google maps, but not knowing which way I am coming from it`s hard to track "turn right "
I can`t even find Rosa Blanca again now . The link from Google takes me to Pollensa old town. Oh Dear.
 
Bear with me on this. I have googled and used the little man to walk about. Now if this link works, it will take you outside The Hideaway, with the little map by the side, then you can walk him around until you work out where it is! If it doesn't work however ........:o

No it didn't! Just took back onto main map before I did the walk around! Back to the drawing board. Sorry. :-(

Easier idea, walk to the roundabout at the port, catch the Pollença bus and get off at the Habitat apartments, can't miss them, cross the road, head right past Rosa Blanca and you are there, oh and get a taxi back ;)
 
Thanks every one for your patience and help .
I have located it now. I must admit , it looks very less built up than the Playa mar end of the town where I stayed before. Not sure about walking the lanes or the carriageway at night, so maybe a taxi the first time to get my bearings.
It shouldn`t cost much - should it ?
 
Taxi fare will probably be about 5.50€ and i think it would be wise as you don't know the area :D.
 
I would definitely recommend taking the trouble to find either the Hideaway or the Panorama, you are in for a superb night of excellent entertainment.;)
 
Saw John Lynam at the Panorama last night and he was excellent

There wasn't very many people there but when we went past at lunchtime there was no sign out and so (because of the forum !!) we asked and yes it was on This seems a bit short sighted not to advertise especially as they are so near the Pollensa Park

Hope a few more people find it next week
 
We found the Hideaway on Thursday , and yes it was a really good night.
He played on his own and was great. I would have loved to see him really go for it !
There were not many when we arrived at about 9pm, but about 30 in all by the end of the night.
We were going home on the Monday night, so went to the Panorama to see him again.
I was so disappointed.
There was a poster outside, saying 8.30, but John didn`t get set up till about 9. There were only 2 other people there dining, and when they finished they left.
Loads of people came out of the Pollensa Park, but only two came over .
There were no other posters that we saw anywhere in the town, it was only the adverts in the magazines for the Hideaway that we found out about him at all.
I really felt sorry for him, it must be soul destroying to play to an empty house, but as it was our last couple of nights we thanked him and left.
I hope more people realise how good he is and make the effort to go.

Anyone know if John lynam is playing tonight at the hideaway and if so what time he starts?
 
I have not heard of any changes CD so i assume he still plays Tues/Thur @ 8.30/9pm ish ;).
 
Have just heard from John and he will be there tonight and Thursday but a bit later at 9.30pm :D.
 
That was a super article featuring him & his wife in the Bulletin a few weeks ago.
 
The Hideaway has been sold so sadly it looks like tonight will be John's last Thursday. He and Mel are hosting a farewell party there on Saturday 28th but John has told me that they are staying in PP :(:(.
Hopefully he will soon find another regular venue but it's all up in the air at the moment, he is going to let me know what is happening as soon as he can ;).
 
I just heard that John will be playing at Can Balache on Sunday 24th November 8.30pm.
 
Oh that's excellent.Do you know if he will be playing the following Sunday too?
