We are coming to Puerto Pollensa in 16 weeks and are having a different visit this time. We have progressed to a family of 3! We are going to Playamar so Rhian will have a chance to mix. Does anyone have any comment about the complex? We are ok with the distance from the town but are there any bars/restaurants on the way into town?

Its a very nice walk along the Pine Walk from the Playa Mar there is the Hotel I'la Dor which would be the first stop then about a 7 mins stroll to Bar Katy and Little Italy, Pescador, then another couple of mins stroll to Hostal Bahia with a restaurant and then 2 mins and you are on the main pedestrian stretch where there lots of shops from the ones selling beach stuff to some very nice clothes/bag shops, and loads of restaurants, bars, perfume shops etc - don't forget to visit the market on Wednesdays in the Square my 12 year always manages to find plenty to buy there plenty of good fake designer bags, clothes, tablecloths, fresh fruit and veg, flowers you name it there will be a stall selling it.

Does that mean you will be there last 2 weeks in July ........ if so, we are staying near you I will have 2 girls with us .. 13 and just 16, so if the dates co incide and you think you daughter she appreciate some teenage company , we are always around the Ila d'or first thing in the morning

Perhaps we could correspond via ezinbox closer to the time

We are there 23rd June to 7th July. We usually stay around the square but felt it would be a bit easier on Rhian if we went to a hotel. Hopefully she will meet up with some company.
