Having sailed around in the bay, I have to disagree. Hire a dinghy (about the price of a coffee in Stay:p lol) and they WILL see or is it sea the best :p

I doubt bobbing around in the bay would be the impression required though lol

ROBJAY can you tell me were i can hire a dinghy for the price of a coffee (in stay ) i paid 9 euros for a coffee in venice last year,so if i can get a dinghy for
less i will hire one for a week.
cheers

Unfortunately I think the view from Stay will be compromised once the construction of the new Nautinort/Public boat berths are completed. When the larger boats are docked the view over to Victoria/Bonaire/Hotel Moré will be interupted.

Ah yes, Rob. But you know as well as me that come the summer (if Simons parents are going out in the summer that is ) all the builders will be gone, and the view from Stay will be once again the best in the port.

Jiggy, are you referring to Love Juice?

What are you on about, rab?

I thought you were referring to the bar "Love Juice" which you can see from Stay. As you may or may not know Simon (the owner) has put the bar up for sale. I thought your reference to Simons parents being out in the summer was about them taking over the bar.

No?

Lol! No sorry m8, I was referring to the view of the port! I was wondering where you were going then!

Forgot about a place within the walls at Alcudia old town, can not remember the name but it has an excellent court yard in side. The drive along the bay to it (and back) would impress as well!

Arriving from Palma and entering the Port via Alcudia road still takes my breath away. I always get emotional. I mentioned this years ago to Marcos in Tango and he told me that he has lived all his life in the Pollensa area and driving along the road towards PP makes him feel the same everyday. How lovely he doesn't take it for granted.

I also think that the walk from I'l D'or towards the port is stunning.
Was laughing at Jiggy re Love Juice. It was a little "British" bar along the front which has closed down. Only lasted one or two seasons.

Pops

Yes Pops i agree, even when we arrived to start living in PP on a cold grey December morning in 2008, we stopped the car and just stood there, yes a tear in my eye and a large lump in my throat. Fantastic.:D

Sparky, Pops & marcos......I agree about the view taking your breath away................................It does the same at noon on a hot July day.......But for a different reason:o LOL

Spare a thought for the poor drivers, we have other things to concern us on that road, lovely for the passengers though:D

Hi Sparkey, I have to agree. The drive as you turn in from alcudia is as i say to my better half every time we arrive " Like winning the lottery". Not that we have but you know what i mean.
