Anyway, someone's got to be able to afford the no doubt extortionate price to buy the site, then fees to develop it and the building costs in the hope that people in this current economic climate then buy !!!
So all's not lost yet.............
As I pointed out, the owners of the site are already experienced property professionals, with many years experience of the market in P.P. They have put together a proposal with CGI impressions of a luxury apartment block development and have asked for expressions of interest. By the fact that the proposals are no longer on their web site, we can presume that either there was no interest and the project has been shelved, or they have had sufficient interest to stop marketing the development. If we take the latter to be the case, then it is likely that they would 'pre-sell' a number of the units in order to fund the development.
