I love reading about other peoples eating out experiences and I could never get bored with the details.

You sound as if you had a wonderful eating experience. Like you we discovered El Posito and will def return.

One thing I notice is the number of times Sulcking Pig gets a mention .I am not a lover of pork so I doubt I will try this but can you tell me is it fatty cos this would not suit me at all.

Thanks everyone - it's so nice to know that you have read the post and appreciated it.

One thing I forgot to mention.....Marques De Riscal Reserva 2003 is one of my very, very favourite wines and costs 36 Euros in Zarzarles but just 18.70 Euros in Brisa Marina (which is another reason why I love the place!).

I've just discovered that my local Sainsburys stock it too, at £13.99 a bottle -which makes the Brisa price seem ever more reasonable.

Brisa Marina is on the front, opposite the pier leading to the ferries and the car park near the marina. It's two doors away from Bar Imperial.....though happily far enough away to avoid noise pollution!! I apologise unreservedly for the last comment to those of you who visit PP to spend two weeks "down at the Old Bull and Bush". DA DA DA DA DA!!!!

Thanks Disorderly for the tip about the Marques de Riscal. I trotted off to Sainsbury's and purchased a bottle. Will savour later this week with a nice steak.
