Airport transfers

After using local taxis for many years, we have decided it is becoming rather expensive (70euro each way). I have just booked online with Shuttle direct total cost, under 60euros return. Has anyone used this service ?

Hi Sparky

In April on our last visit we used ResortHoppa (another online shuttle company). We found it good value for money. the only negative was that we had to wait 1/2 hour for another plane to arrive, did'nt mind though it was a pleasant wait in the sunshine. The cost was 45 euros for a return transfer for 2 of us. Our destination drop off had to be a hotel or holiday apartments. The journey up to PP was very nice, not on the motorway but through the Majorcan countryside (oviously, this depends on his drop offs) it was like being on a excursion. The return pick up was very punctual getting us at the airport 21/4 hrs before homebound flight.

I know this was our first experience of shuttles but I had no complaints at all and much cheaper than taxis.

Warning!!

Hi guys, got back yesterday. Airport shuttle was a disaster. They did not turn up, for the return trip. I phoned them three times and was put on hold each time even though i had explained my battery was running low. Ater an hour waiting we got a taxi to Palma, stopping off at cash point for more dinero. I have sent an email off this morning and am waiting for a reply, not holding my breath though. Not a good end to a great holiday.

Well as expected a week later and no reply to my emails. So just be warned do not book the Shuttle Direct service with Viajes Alamedas if you want to be sure of getting back to Palma.
