Dose anyone know if Al Fresco is still open? We haven’t been out for a couple of years, always our go to at lunchtime. Thanks

Hi Emmalou

It has been closed anytime we have passed it when we have been there this year, and I have seen other commenting similar on Facebook, though I am honestly not sure.

An alternative that we use is Picnic across the road for the Hiper supermarket and 50 yards toward the main road. . They do lovely poke bowls, pasta, salads etc. though they close around 3pm each day.

It has been taken over by Dani who owns Dos Kanallas in the square. Both have been rebranded and are now called Barrut.

We used Barrut a few times during our recent visit. It’s not quite the old Al Freso of days gone by, but we had lunch paella from there which was good and chicken and fries one evening after a long day at the beach which was also really tasty.

It didn’t seem busy on either occasion, so hope it picks up, as it is a convenient central location for takeaway food.
