Hi Linz
Yes you did tell me that you'd been

When we went in June it was Martin I spoke to as Josefina wasn't there. I gave him the address and he said someone would visit, but 3 months later the dog is still living a pitiful existence as ever. I also visited the Guardia Civil two weeks ago to report about her, but to no effect...I'm running out of ideas!
Got back yesterday and in the entire 3 weeks we were there she was not taken off the tether once. The family is out all day during the week but even at weekends she never gets let off the tether, and only gets an occasional pat on the head from one of the kids. She barks and wags her tail at them when they are there , which isn't often, but they just tell her to shut up
Dina spends her entire life in a small walled garden tied up by a rope no more than 7ft long. She has recently started to dig a hole in the ground after which she curls up into a tight ball and then spends the whole day asleep. She is a beautiful hunting dog and needs plenty of exercise...of which she gets none!
My next idea is to send photos of Dina and explain the situation to Ann at Talk of the North, as I know she has a lot of dealings with the Sanctuary. She did give me an email address months ago but the mails all came back undeliverable, and I cant find an email address when I google the animal sanctuary.
Debs x
Ps Don't you wish you were back in PP Linz?
