whats PP like in August? is it mad?? also whats it like in april? its my 30th april so thought about coming then but would like it to be warm and worried it'll be very cold, I've seen the average temperatures but cant imagine what they actually feel like... thank you in advance for your help xxx

Hi we went mid April last year weather was mixed day we arrived was stormy and cold , we had a few glorious days where we sunbathed all day and a few cooler days where I needed gloves , scarf etc but I hate being cold ! So mixed bag evenings were cool and you needed a jacket. The port was quite busy during the day most places open , no sun beds on beach. Fairly quiet at night but we enjoyed it. August we have been a few times very hot very busy but again still enjoyable but yes fairly different to April. We were celebrating a special birthday in April obviously you are taking a chance with the weather but you are bound to get some nice days. I would certainly do it again personally I would prefer April to August as we like the port when it is a little quieter .

We have been the last week in April for a few years now and have been really lucky each time...the odd cloudy/rainy day but on the whole very good and have not needed any more than a cardigan or jacket for the evenings.its a lovely time to see the port - we call it waking up but its a shame the beach beds are still in hibernation though.Most restaurants are open and its lovely to be able to stroll up the pinewalk or up as far Tango without the crowds and also the intense heat.
