We land at 11am on the 10th, so fingers crossed May miss the strike by 1 hour!!!!

We arrive on the 11th, the day after it ends but am worried there maybe backlog. Should we take a cabin case with a change of clothes etc, do you think?
Don't need this stress- already paid the extra £60 to sit together on Ryanair after I read scary newspaper stories that I could be separated from my 5 year old!

Starting to panic a bit son and his partner arrive on 1st, if I go I will only have hand baggage, they are being sensable and putting some clothes in their hand luggage. Is there any news yet of talks?

I'm sitting here in muggy London mulling over my pre-PP checklist.....secure in the knowledge that I'll have the most up-to-date reports on the baggage handlers situation - and the best tips - from this Forum before we leave on the 17th!

Kids have arrived in PP no delays reported at the airport great journey, just a worried mum, why do I? Chris always lands on his feet.

Now that we are actually into the strike zone, does anyone have any feedback about how things sent this weekend?

Hoping for a trouble free arrival on the 9th, but arriving in around lunchtime so fingers crossed.

Best experience of Palma check in ever yesterday. Last year spent nearly two hours in Easyjet bag drop Que, under ten mins this year five mins at security.
Flight was due to leave 11.30 had to wait half hour on plane but made time up.

We arrive on Sunday - 17th - the last day of the "strike". I'm assuming from the lack of horror stories - and Disorderly's description of his quick getaway - that there hasn't been a problem.

Do you think this is a safe assumption?

Been here for 4 days now and not heard of anyone having problems. I think you'll be OK. Hope so.

We waited well over an hour for our bags in June and they were useing the same baggage reclaims for several flights so no one who was queueing up knew if it was their flight baggage or the next one on the list !!

Seems to work better when they are supposedly on strike !
