Banks in PP

Hi

I'll be travelling to PP in June, was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any cash machines (ATM), or if it's best to take Euros/Travellers cheques.

There are plenty of cash machines in PP. Personally, I haven't used travellers cheques for about 15 years! It's worthwhile taking an amount of euros with you, but all the machines accept English cards, and even have their instructions in English. There is of course a charge for taking money out, similar to standard commission. You should have no problem at all with cash in PP, and of course all the shops and restaurants take cards, but you will need your passport for ID.

There is no charge for taking cash out of ATMs if you use a Nationwide Flex Account card and Nationwide Credit card.

If you want to use your credit card and don't want to carry your passport around, then a UK photocard driving licence will also be acceptable.
