We haven't been back to PP since June 2016 and this year I was very sad to see Bar Romero had closed. I always went there for an Estrella Damm at lunch time and loved the atmosphere of the place.

The owner was always friendly, and I hope he's retired now and living off the profits of his labour.

If anyone knows him please pass on my regards

Are you absolutely sure? Thought they just had Monday as their weekly closing day...maybe wrong....

Bar Romero is now called Tonik and closes on Tuesdays. The food is very good and prices are reasonable.

Juan and his wife still live across the road from the bar, he goes out every day for a walk and then picks up his grand daughter from school. We spoke to him in May and he told us he was very well and loved being retired.

However Rumbo is up for sale .
