Well worth a visit - if only for the garlic bread and the view.
The Red Rum Bar and Restaurant in Barcares is operated by Elaine (from Rovvrum) and husband Jose. It has been mentioned as being one of the top 10 best located bars in the world!
The bar stands directly on the sea front overlooking Pollensa Bay and the view really is "living art". The bar menu is really good with local dishes, pizza, steak etc together with snacks and children's menu.
The bar is close to the Hotel Panoramic and Hotel More. Follow the signs for Barcares from the old town or you can get there on foot from the main PP - Alcudia road.

There's always a warm welcome - even more so if you're a Rotherham United supporter. Not only is Elaine quite a character, their small dog actually catches fish in the sea - really.
