There is a lot of info about them on this website ADW: Aegypius monachus: INFORMATION :D.

Well now I'm really confused sparky. I've just read the article and it says that the chicks don't fledge until they are about 100 days old and return to the nest to be fed by the parents and to sleep for another couple of months
Victor is about 21 days old so he does appear to be very advanced/ big for his age.

Glass now empty :(

Well i give up now, i honestly don't get the cynicism so will just enjoy what i am seeing :).

Victor is on the move again, he is out of the nest for a little walk with mummy :D.

Or is it a drone vulture being remotely controlled by the CIA ;).

Absolutely priceless........:D:D. I'm wiping my eyes as I type.

Mums still looking after him ok, standing guard!

I can see mum and dad standing in the far background, I assume Vic is with them. Oh and looked into adopting a vulture, prices from 1000 euros, so wont be doing that!!

Victor is getting bigger by the day, stretching his wings this morning!! :)

Are the stork eggs ever going to hatch?!

Just google and the incubation period is 33/34 days. It's 36 days since the eggs were laid so it must be any moment. Now the question is do I go shopping, do the ironing, clean the bathrooms.....or sit glued to the webcam watching a stork sitting on a nest on a chimney in Germany ?

I, personally, could never imagine telling friends at home, that I had gone to Puerto Pollensa for whatever length of time you are there, to sit glued to a TV waiting for a chick to be born on a rooftop in Germany somewhere!

You know, there are restaurants, bars, beaches, etc outside!

However, your choice entirely!!

I'll be in PP in a couple of weeks time and believe me I will not be glued to the stork webcam..... well maybe just the odd check in every now and then ;)

Wish I'd never announced that the eggs had been laid!
I agree, Debz, I'll be there in 2 weeks, too, and I reckon I'll give the storks a miss.....well?!
