All the threads about eating just made me book even earlier. But the cost of flights ouch !

Don't know if this had to do with all the troubles in other parts of the Med but def higher than last year.

we have booked PP accommodation but not flights yet as shocked at the prices from Glasgow/Edinburgh

We have booked up too, accommodation same as last year and flights from Gatwick were about the same as last year with Easyjet!

Flight costs from Scotland

We did think about travelling down to Manchester but one of the main things we like about PP is the short flight time and as we stay in Glasgow I do not want to add the time for travelling down to Manchester etc . We bit the bullet today as they had already gone up since last night ! Not by much but supply and demand rules on these occasions .

I do think that prices will be affected by demand, but I think the new compensation regulations regarding delays will be having a great effect.

In my opinion, being able to claim 400 Euros. Compensation for a delay in a 40 euro is rediculous....we all end up paying for a few lucky people!!
