I am looking to come back to PP in September 2013 and really want to stay at the Miramar and have a sea view room. What is it like booking direct with a hotel abroad? is it the same as UK? Its probably a really daft question but I've only ever used travel agents before. None of the travel agents online I've looked at offer sea view rooms. Many thanks and again sorry if this a daft question.

Good morning,
That is what I call foreward planning! It is very easy and yes, the same as booking a UK Hotel. I doubt that they will accept a booking quiet so far in advance however they will probably add you to a provisional list and confirm the booking when the 2013 prices come out in the Autumn. Email the hotel direct and you will be advised how to proceed. You are right in needing to get in fast as so many clients return there year after year and book one year in advance. Failing that I can also handle this for you if you prefer as I work very closely with the Miramar and the price will be the same. Good luck.

I have booked online with the Mirimar, absolutely no problem, the seaview rooms with the white balastrades have fantastic balconies/views.My favourite location to watch the world go by.

Thanks! I emailed last night to find out when they start taking 2013 bookings and was told this morning October so have that on my calendar :D am looking at going for the 4th floor sea view with terrace because from the 80 reviews I read it seems these are the best? I fell in love with PP in September last year when we stayed at the Puerto Azul but this time I really want a sea view and Miramar has excellent reviews <3 my parents will be in PP this September and I am house/dog sitting for them so can't tag along (the eldest of the 2 dogs has a disability so can't put her in kennels) b&b appeals because then we have an excuse to eat out somewhere different twice a day :D

Thanks for putting my mind at ease.

To be on the safe side I would contact them again at the beginning of September. You will not be disappointed the Hotel is lovely and the first and fourth floor have the larger balconies.
