Bowed but not Broken

Hi Folks, Well just back from my beloved pp in what turned out to be the worst weather i have seen in 40 years of visits (at all times out of season). It was certainly a week of First's. First time we have experienced wind temperatures that cut you in two in spite of clothing more suited to the north pole. Rain that just got worse and worse, Going out midweek to see the beach covered in a thick white frost, Running back from the brisa's on friday night ( While doing our best to walk) Because of the wind strength, And as we passed tollo's we had to keep looking back to make sure that some of his chairs which were flying after us were not going to hit us, and no I'm not exaggerating. So I say this to the pp weather gods. If that was your best effort to put us off pp, then you have failed. Must do better !!!!

We are also just back from the same week of really bad weather, it has not put us off one bit as we had a great time, We'll be back

I have some pictures of snowmen in the mountains, will start a new thread sometime soon when I catch up with work as back to the grind today and have lots to do.

Sorry guys, you really did not pick a good week . We and many others have all said Thursday especially was the worst day of rain we had experienced, it just did not stop and the wind on Friday was terrifying .

Hi Sparky, Your right about the wind being terrifying. Could have been worse though. The wife's wig might have gone and that would have been horrendous, Frightens animals and children you know

When i was last there in Oct the wind and rain were terrible too! still....i wish i was there right now - nothing planned yet - but hope to be out in Autumn.
Off to NYC and Cape Cod in 4 weeks - so can't complain!
