I am looking for some advice if posible. I am looking to relocate to the Puerto Pollensa región very soon, with my family. We have lived in Spain for a number of years, and although we love the Spanish lifestyle, we do still like to hear the odd English voice every now and again!
Can someone tell me whether the British Community is decreasing in Puerto Pollensa (as i know there once was a large ex-pat community there), and whether it is still popular with the British tourist during the summer? Has there been a decline in British tourists? Any help would be great!
Thank you in advance. E.Jones

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I am now in my 5th year as a PP resident and whilst in that time a few have left there are others that have moved in, so yes there is still a fairly large expat community here.
I would say that we get more Brit tourists than any other nationality but there is an increasing number of Scandinavians, Germans and Russians amongst others. Hope this helps :).

Official statistics suggest that the British resident population of Pollensa as a whole is just over 10%. As Sparky rightly points out there has been a trend towards greater diversity of the tourist population, but Puerto Pollensa remains predominantly British. For now!
