Campanet To Pollensa by bicycle

Hello, me and my girlfriend are visiting Mallorca in late June this year and we' staying here not far from Campanet. We've never been to Mallorca before and we'd like to do some cycling while we're there and would appreciate some advice. By the way, we're both commuter cyclists and although we can cycle all day we're not used to lots of steep hill-climbs.

Is there a nice/scenic bicycle route from Campanet to Puerto Pollensa? How long would it take to do?

Can anyone recommend other good cycle routes starting around Campanet?

Are there any cycle routes in the north part of Mallorca which we shouldn't miss?

I've cycled the route many times from Puerto Pollensa to Campanent, its a great cycle. Can't quite recall the distance but it must be around 20-25 km. The Caminio Vall de Pollenca is a cycle route with signposts and distance markers and reasonably flat. But in the summer its very warm, there's little breeze and little shade so take plenty of water. Once you reach the main road MA-2200 there are options off to the right for a more leisurely country cycle with options to Alcudia, Pollensa bay as well as Puerto Pollensa. Taking the main road is also fine as there is a cycleway past pollensa and its a wide road with room for both cyclists and vehicles prior to that. From memory the steepest climb is that to Campanent.

The route from Campanet to PP is beautiful and often well marked, although I strongly suggest taking a good road map. A decent sense of direction and the capacity to just go with the flow can help. Head off on the Cami Vell de Campanet, survive a short stretch of the main road then turn off down the little road leading to the coastal plain (look at Google maps with the Satellite button switched on). Once down on the plain behind PP there are dozens of quiet, small roads with lovely views/farmsteads but trying to work out exactly where you are can be a tester! The cycle routes advertised on various websites are excellent but often on main roads and mostly for the dedicated miles-under-the-belt brigade. The steepest hills are North of Campanet into the Serra Tramantura and would only be for the keen - with proper bikes.

Agree with the above - June will be very hot on the valley road so be prepared!
