There is a hand-painted sign outside the old Balaxia.

I was passing today and I think it said "Ca'n Daniel - Mediterranean Cuisine".

Does anybody know anything?

Is Balaix gone - what happened it??

Yes it's gone. I think the relocation of the supermarket had a lot to do with that decision although Arnie and Mandy (Balaixa owners) still have their bistro in Cala San Vicente.

Interesting to hear that someone else may have taken over the old site - but that supermarket really does dominate ....

True .. Arnie offered me a job in Balaixa a few years about but as it was the tail end of the season I declined in favour of a job in rain N Ireland so sorry to hear it closed
