It was good to hear that Eva is working in C'an Pancho's with the family.... are Enrique & Katy still working there?
Norman was indeed a fine host & a great story teller I miss him very much & I have many happy memories of C'an Pacienci & Pto Pollensa.

I was with Dudleys wife Antonia on Thursday but hadn't seen this thread before as I have been in Puerto for the last 3 weeks and only returned yesterday. However, this may be of help to you. The phone number for C'an Pancho is 0034 971 866 356 and the address is:- Calle Verge del Carme 4 Puerto Pollensa 07470 Mallorca.
You could perhaps send a letter to Antonia & Dudley c/o the restaurant or phone them. Both Katy & Enrique are still there and speak very good English.
Antonia & Katy's mother is also still alive (93 years old) and often seen inside.

I believe we may have met many years ago when I had the Bar El Barco just around the corner from C'an Pancho. We used to frequent C'An Pacienci often in those days and have some very happy memories!

News about Alonso.

I have heard on the PP grapevine that Alonso has taken over Bar Rumbo (which has been shut for a while) word is, it will be a Tapas bar.
I will keep you posted on any developments.

I can confirm that Alonso opened Bar Rumbo yesterday, hubby called in and says the drink prices are very reasonable and they are selling tapas for 2€.
Al told him they open at 7am and at the moment are closing at around 8pm but that is flexible.
Surose i will pass on your best wishes this afternoon when i call in.
