A quick car hire query. Has anyone used Vanrell Car Hire based in Alcudia? Opinions ?

Yes we’ve used them for a few years - easy airport collection/return and good cars. Would recommend.

Agree a very good reliable company. Only minor problem is they don’t operate full/full on petrol. They simply tell you to leave the same amount in the tank as you start with which can prove difficult to judge. Found them to be super reliable and sometimes useful to be able to pick up at the airport and drop off in Alcúdia especially if staying in PP for an extended period.

Excellent hire car company. Never had a long wait in the airport to get paperwork done and collect car. No pressure to take out all inclusive insurance if you don't want it. You are required to pay for the car park ticket before leaving the parking lot. Often get an upgrade when hiring during the winter months.

Who is best to pick up in Puerto Pollensa? We normally book independently so pick a car up at the airport. This year its proved far cheaper to book a package with jet2 with transfers included. So looking for a small car once we are there.

Hiper car rental on calle Juan xx111 are an excellent local car hire company.

We, too, have found Hiper friendly and efficient. Would recommend booking in advance online for the best prices.
