Car hire & transfer

Hi
Does anybody know if any of the car rental places in PP offer a transfer/car hire service?
Last year my husband was convinced he saw it advertised in one place but when I emailed them, they said not.
Basically we want something small like a fiat 500 to hire in resort and someone to collect us and drop us back off at the airport in something bigger to get the cases in.
Has anyone heard of anything like this ?

private transfer to PP from Airport for up to 4 people circa 138 Euro return price its as easy as ABC to Google up the names of companies offering such a service and the HIPER agent in PP for a punto or similar ....not the cheapest way to do it but hey ho each to their own ....

Thanks Tiggy but I don't think I explained myself very well.
The advert my husband seemed to think he saw was a service the rental car place did with the transfer included.
I think he imagined it

Hi Booble, Is it only for the two of you? The reason I ask is that the price of a slightly bigger car, pick up and drop off airport would probably not be much more than the cost of hiring a small car in the port, especially if you are talking for the duration of your holiday. We find that we can manage fine with a Group B car....takes all our luggage no problem....and I don't travel light

Vanrell deliver cars to the airport .... two one way rentals in larger vehicle and then swop to a smaller car for the middle at their local office in the North ????

Boobie, I think the cost of a taxi to and from the airport would be no more than the cost of hiring a car for 2 days and it is SO easy.
We used a taxi last year for the first time and it was great to walk through into the arrivals hall to be met by our taxi driver. A short walk to the car (complete with child car seats) and we were away. Same on the way back - picked up at our apartment and dropped off at Departures.

We didn't hire a car at all last year but are thinking that this year we'll still use the taxis for the airport run but may hire a car in the Port to tootle around. As you say, you can manage with a smaller car if you don't have to take luggage into account.

We go in August for 2 weeks. We've booked the
Speedy shuttle @ £70 return for the 4 of us and
The morning after we arrive I pick up a fiesta or
Similar for 10 days for €250 all in+ €22 for a quarter tank
Of fuel, from Formentor car hire. This works perfect
for us. No queuing at the airport,or getting hit with
extras or stung for fuel. Stress free and able to enjoy
a few drinks on route. Plus works out cheaper than
the €340+ full tank quote we got for the full 14 days
with airport pickup.

mrs gers, mrs celtic, mrs arthurlie, the 2 bluebells and master st Mirren used this service last year on their summer visit and said it was excellent, ended up in a small mini bus both ways on their own door to door in under 45 mins e/way you really cant beat that

Just priced Speedy Shuttle for Easter weekend......£60.08 for two of us. We have been quoted not much more for car hire for the weekend. Think we will stick with the car hire this time even allowing for the cost of fuel

Just booked a fiesta car with record for 3 days at end of March for 40 euros and this includes 3 extra drivers plus express pick up ...... Also full/ half petrol so only get stung for half a tank at inflated rate.

And because we are all insured to drive it means we don't need to drag the chaps around Festival Park if the weathers bad and the Mango Outlet beckons. why waste their time shopping when there could well be DIY Jobs to do


and Gers, with the extra drivers you don't need to be the taxi driver, just hand over the keys to anyone who wants to go anywhere
