I wasn't sure if he had played the closing ceremony or not so I didnt bring the subject up. he did tell me that he had to fly back from Mallorca on Sunday to play at a Team GB event with all of the Team GB medalists and, bizarrely, the cast of the Expendables 2 - Sly, Arnie, Claude et al!
 
Simon, He wasn't the only one, Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, Noel Gallagher were all asked, but at such short notice decided against,(no rehearsal time). Never mind, we got the Spice Girls:rolleyes:
 
Look out for Bradley Wiggins in PP this week, he is back over for 10 days on a winter training session!

Good to hear he is up and pedaling after his mishap. I guess he will be taking care passing the petrol station in the Port!:)
 
Bradley Wiggling tv programme

There is a tv programme on sky this week about Bradley Wiggins.
Might be worth a watch as I'm reasonably sure that the trailer for the programme shows him training in the Traumantana mountains.
 
I believe the Sky team are up at the golf club for a Do one night this week>
 
I can't tell them apart but I wouldnt go as far as wanting to punch them!
They're a cute little duo.I hope they come back again soon!

Saw the programmer Labore mentioned last night on Sky, what a nice man he seems and his wife was nice too, they talked about normal stuff, families and how they try to be normal when at home and not racing, try and catch it if you can, not much about PP but worth a view. :)
 
Wiggo was featured in Telegraph last Saturday, with 2 pics from Mallorcan training trip...1 in a wicker terrace chair with spiky cacti in background, one looking across pool to sea with 2 moored cats in backgroud, low green hedge in between...Ila D'Or?
 
Not sure it would have been Ila D'or as closed. They are staying at a hotel on Playa Muro.
 
You're right lollipop. It definitely wasn't taken at PP, the sunbeds on the beach weren't the same, and the view of the mountains different too. The chair that the other guy was sitting in in the discussion wasn't one I recognised from PP either. I did listen to some of the interview! :D
 
It's the Vanity Golf hotel in Puerto Alcúdia, Team Sky and British Cycling's winter base in Mallorca.
