Hello,

we are looking for an aparthotel (witch kitchenet) in Puerto de Pollenca for 2 weeks during the next summer holidays. We expect a nice swimming pool and evening animations.

After having looked at many posts, we hesitate now between Club Del Sol and Apparthotel DUVA. Indeed they match our budget and there are not full yet.

We know that both are a bit isolated, especially Club del Sol, but it is not really a problem because we'll have our own car. So we'll take it on the one hand to go to the beach, and on the other hand to stroll and have dinner in PP on the evening.

Could you tell us which one you would choose, if you had two childrens, aged 6 and 10 ?

Which as the best swimming pool ?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Personally, I think Club Del Sol is in a nicer setting, with lovely views of the bay of Pollenca. If you don't feel like driving, there is a very frequent bus service, that stops outside the hotel.

Hello,

finally we will reserve at Duva and Spa because Club del Sol is full.
Could you tell me if Aparthotel Duva and Spa is really appropriate for families withch childrens ?

Besides, on booking.com, it is written that the hotel is located 850 meters (0.53 miles) from the beach and that it takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach. Is it true ?

Thank you.

Yes Duva is great for kids, we stayed there a couple of times and next door in the Habitat for years, both great for kids with large pools and daytime and nighttime entertainment. As sparky says its around 10 mins to the beach, and maybe 15 into the town but there are lots of places to eat in the area and as you get towards the port plenty of places to stop for a drink on the way. I am sure you will have a great time. :)

We have been to the Duva.

Lots of families with children when we were there having lots of fun

The walk is about 10 minutes as others have confirmed.
